As the name of my webpage suggests, I’m an Italian “chica” (“girl” in Spanish) in love with photography, nature and meditation. The name of my site could seem weird because it is half in English and half in Spanish. I’ve chosen English because it’s international and it’s the best start for people like me, that enjoy travelling and being connected with different cultures. But it is also my duty to pay tribute to the language of the magic land that made me feel reborn, a paradise called Lanzarote.

I grew up in a chaotic reality, where everything came and passed so fast that you couldn’t even realize what was going on. A society that requires you behave in a precise way to be accepted by everybody, which makes you forget the real value of the individual person. In this kind of reality I used to be pessimistic, constantly depressed and without any kind of positive vision regarding my future. But one day my life has changed: I moved to Lanzarote, Canary Island, Spain, just by myself, leaving my “normal” life behind me. I’ve started to meditate and to appreciate the contact with the nature and, at the same time, I’ve started to receive a lot of opportunities and amazing things! As I started to meditate, to force myself to be optimistic and to have only good thoughts, my life started to be directed into an amazing path where I am still right now. One of the biggest opportunities that came to me is this beautiful job: professional photographer. Photography has been a passion since I was a child. When I was 20, my dad bought me a Nikon Reflex that, for years, has been my most precious treasure, but I had never thought that being a photographer would have become my job! I was so absorbed by the daily routine that I couldn’t realize what I wanted to be and what could make me happy. Now, I finally feel so grateful and pleased, and as Confucius said: “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”.

I created this blogsite because I would love to transfer my feeling and emotions to other people and make them appreciate nature and all the good vibes that a photograph can trasmit.
